Be careful to avoid eating anything until the numbness has worn off. You can chew your cheek without even knowing it.
After your crown is seated it is a good idea to avoid eating anything hard or sticky for the rest of the day. This allows the cement to totally set.
The day after your crown has been seated you can eat and drink anything you want. You can also brush and floss the new crown.
Because we adjust the crown while you are numb, you may find that the crown is a little high. This means that when you bite down you are touching the new crown first before any of your other teeth. If you notice this, it means that you need to call the office so we can make a minor adjustment. If this issue is not taken addressed, the tooth will become sore.
